Cervical Cancer

I have had cervical problems since i was 25 years old. My first pap came back abnormal, i had it froze off, the second time i had it lazered off, the third time i had it cut off. i have not had a pap for 3 years do to no insurance. the cells were atypical glandular cells the last pap. now i have a lump in my groin lymph nodes which the surgeon wants to take out, but i just started a new job with good insurance and want to wait to have it taken out. what i want to know is should i wait that long and do you really think this may be cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes? Somebody please answer. thank you.
