which way of biopsy to choose?

My mother was diagnose for brain tumor on June 2007,a biopsy will be performed in order to show if it is malignant or not.It is possible to be astocytoma grade 2 (any idea?).I am not sure yet which is the best method of biopsy.In Greece there are 2 types.Stereotactic and nerve navigation (sorry for poor english).I have asked 4 doctors but I have not come to a conclusion yet.Has anyone got any idea where to ask please?Thank you and I wish good luck to everyone.
