Opportunity to make a difference!

Post a new topicby OTStudent on Tue Oct 06, 2009 1:03 am

Hi Everyone,

I am a fourth year, Occupational Therapy Student at The University of Queensland, Australia. I am in a group of 4 students currently doing a project for the Princess Alexandra Hospital's outpatient Brain Tumour Clinic.

Our project is called, “Enhancing the Occupational Therapy management of patients within the multidisciplinary outpatient Brain Tumour Clinic.”

This will include collecting information from people who attend Brain Tumour Clinics, so we can learn about your opinions on the effectiveness of Occupational Therapy at Brain Tumour Clinics.

We are asking that if anyone would like to assist us in improving the quality of the help they have recieved, or simply provide us with an opinion we would be grateful. You can do this by completing a short survey, which is anonymous, voluntary and confidential.

Once we have collected as many surveys as possible, we will collate the responses and suggest recommendations for occupational therapy within the multidisciplinary outpatient Brain Tumour Clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

As patients, carers and families, your responses, opinions and suggestions are highly valued and important in improving Occupational Therapy services at the clinic.

We would really like to make a difference to the services that are offered to patients with Brain Tumours. If you would like to help us, please respond to this post or email me at [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed]

Thank you!
