NEWLY DIAGNOSEDMy 60 yr old wife 4 weeks ago was sent home from work because see was confused. We went to
our family Dr he ordered blood work. This was negative so Scans where done. In the 10 or so days it took to get the scans MRI AND CT brain and chest done she drastically went down hill. Becoming all most a five year old. She has since been doagnosed with Lung Tumors (Many) and more brain tesions than can be counted. There are 4 1 cm tumors and one that 5.5 by 4 cms with the rest rest of the brain being as the family DR said being completed seeded with smaller tumors. She has lost tons of weight down to 82 lbs. She has been on Steriods to shrenk the swelling. Which did bring her mentaly back may be 5%. The Oncologist sent use to a Radiation Dr. Who decided it would be best to start treatment before a byopsy was taken. The oncologist wants to see her after the 3 weeks of radiation treatments to talk about Chemo I will see the Radiation DR today when she receives treatment number 11. I want to know what her changes are. I do not want her to suffer needlessly. Currently she is unbelievebly pain free. I'm not sure if this is normal or a result of a tumor. Any thoughts would be helpful. Even if what questions to ask.
Re: NEWLY DIAGNOSEDI have nothing to add save that I am surviving kidney cancer. Love her, keep her spirits up and remember the power of positive thinking. Tell your wife to imagine she is in a place of her choosing that showers down healing rays of lights. They sprinkle on her and she can feel them. They sparkle and energise her. They cleanse her
That is what helped me. Hope this helps your wife.
