Brain Cancer

I found out last weekend that my dad has lung cancer that is also in his brain. He went to the oncologist yesterday and was told that the brain tumors are first priority. The mass in the bottom of his right lung will have to wait. The doctor will only try one round of radiation that is ten treatments. If this doesn’t work, they say he’ll only have a few months. I realize it has been months since you posted but can you please give an update on your father? My wife, 53, was diagnosed similarly in March 2007, was treated for brain mets (5) with wbr and gamma ray. So far she remains cancer free. Hers is a CUP but statiscally it originated most likely from her lungs as she was a heavy smoker for 30 years.
