Bone Cancer

I am writing for my mother. She has not been diagnosed, her appointment for the Oncologist is not for another 5 days. Her main concern is an actual hole that has formed on her skull at the top of her forehead. About one month ago she noticed a raised "bump" on her forehead at the top next to the hairline. That "bump" went away and instead was replaced by an actual hole. If there is any information that you may be able to provide, we would love to listen. Her visits to the family doctor have turned up no new information and I feel that they really do not know what the cause of this is and how to treat it. I know that she may have fibromialga (sp?) but now the doctor is telling her that it may be related to some type of bone cancer and that is where the hole came from. We are in a desperate situation now, because she is without the proper insurance to cover the extensive tests that her doctor is suggesting. I would just like the piece of mind to know if anyone else has heard of this condition or has had any experiences with a type of hole in there skull. The last Xray that was taken showed signs of another hole forming to the right of the existing one. I again am very scared and concerned for her health.
