What are we all afraid of?I do want to survive without a prostate and/or bladder. Those of us who are christians should welcome the end because we will meet God. There are to many of us who want to hang on forever, why? Maybe it is time for some us to get out of the way and make room for the younger generation?
Re: What are we all afraid of?
I apologize. Please excuse the typo. The first sentence should be: I do " NOT " want to survive without a prostate and/or a bladder.
gott
There may be significance to that typo. Of course, we're all afraid of what lies beyond, but I have a different reason to survive (I'm scheduled for my cystectomy on 9/11, talk about meaningful dates). That is, that for Christians, humanists, and those of every other faith, life is a precious gift. The secret to happiness is love of life without conditions. So I know that what's to come will be tough but I'm ready to keep fighting. I hope you find peace.
Re: What are we all afraid of?Bill in Philly,
Your response is interesting. You sound young. Just beware of the health industry. Remember, If there were no disease all the doctors would end up being plumbers, etc. Doctors make a living off of disease. I don't blame them for disease, but some doctors go to bed at night praying for more disease, the next day, so they can pay for their next vacation. gott
