Normal Symptoms?

Post a new topicby KarenH on Wed Dec 26, 2007 11:18 pm

After being catheterized for 4 months due to surgical complications following a partial cystectomy, my catheter was removed on November 12th. I have yet to regain normal bladder function as I awaken every 1-2 hours at night and void every hour during the day. Also, I am experiencing burning and pressure. Should these symtoms have subsided by now? I have tried Ditropan and Detrol but they did not help. I am frightened that the cancer has returned. I am having a cystoscope on 1/14 and am wondering what I might expect.
