Bladder Cancer

I am a 66 year old man living in Panama. I had blood in my urine, so went to a urologist who used ultrasound to find a silver dollar sized coral like tumor attached to my bladder. The pathology found it to be a Stage 1 carcinoma. I had it removed immediately. I am now waiting to begin chemo. I have been told in will be done for 6 weeks. I am more afraid of the chemo and what it will do to me. Anyone have specific experience with this short term chemo and its effects?
